

Dr. Scott Madry is a well known expert in the applications and integration of geoinformatics technologies. He received his Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1986, and was a Senior Project Manager at the Instititue for Technology Development's Space Remote Sensing Center, NASA Stennis Space Center from 1986-1989. He was the Senior Associate Director of the Rutgers University Center for Remote Sensing and Spatial Analysis from 1989-1997. He is currently a Professor on the Resident Faculty of the International Space University in Strasbourg, France, and has been involved in ISU since it's inception in 1986. He is also a Research Associate Professor in the Department of Anthropology at UNC-Chapel Hill. He has given over 120 short courses and continuing education programs in over 15 countries around the world, and some of his research was featured in the 1991 McGraw-Hill Yearbook of science and technology.
