..........Remote Sensing

Satellite
Satellites have revolutionized our ability to acquire and analyze environmental
data around the world in a timely and cost-effective manner. Many new
and more capable remote sensing satellites are being launched, including
new ultra-high resolution systems that will have a spatial resolution of
less than 1 meter. These new capabilities will provide images comparable
to aerial photography anywhere in the world. Radar systems also are
available that can acquire data at night or through clouds. These data
are often integrated with other information (maps, GPS, etc.) in an
integrated GIS environment. How can you tell which data will be
right for you? Where do you start?
Informatics International has extensive experince in all
aspects of remote sensing, including training and short courses,
imagery selection, data acquisition, data analysis, field work,
project design and management, proposal preparation, expert
consulting services, systems integration, and incorporation
of imagery data with GIS and GPS data. Contact us for
all your remote sensing data requirements.
Informatics International has a business
relationships with Space Imaging, Orbview, SPOT
Image, and SPIN-2 and can assist you in choosing
the right imagery for your specific needs.
